SUPPLY: We aren’t experiencing any supply issues with our main suppliers - the shop is full of your favourite games.

EVENTS: As restrictions start to ease we are introducing a few events back to the program for limited numbers - bookings are essential so check the events page for more info

AROUND THE STORE: The retail half of the shop is still open - however, please stay home if you are feeling any of these symptoms (and see your doctor asap): fever, a cough, sore throat, fatigue, shortness of breath. Please also remember social distancing when shopping in the store.

The Goblin has a toilet and sink with hand soap attached to the shop where you are encouraged to wash your hands – just ask us for the key. Please don’t touch your mouth, nose or eyes with your bare/unwashed hands. If you need to cough or sneeze, please do so into a tissue or flexed elbow. Please dispose of used tissues in the bin provided.

OUR CUSTOMERS: Because antibiotics are not effective against viruses, and there is no vaccine for COVID-19, it is especially important to look after your immune system by minimising stress (play lots of games) and eat nutritious food to bolster your body’s natural defence against infection! Seeking professional advice is always recommended.

Despite what is happening in the world, we still stock a wide range of excellent games and hobby supplies in a lovely air conditioned store for your enjoyment and convenience – we look forward to seeing you soon!

DELIVERY: Place your order before 5pm and your purchases will be delivered between 5pm-7pm (please make sure you are home at this time). Orders placed on Thursday, Friday (shop open late) or Monday (shop closed) will be delivered the next evening. Deliveries are also available on Saturday and Sundays. If you live outside of the Cairns delivery zone, we can send your parcel via Australia post for a flat rate of $10.

PAYMENT: You can pay on check out with Paypal or credit card (even if you don't have a Paypal account). If you prefer to pay with credit card over the phone, just call Mick on 0405 544 857 with your details. You can also opt to pay cash on delivery or we can bring our Eftpos machine for tap-and-go purchases.

The Wicked Goblin

The Wicked Goblin is an independent games retailer and coffee lounge where you don't just buy the game,

you also play the game.

There are events and tournaments held weekly for all ages and game types including tabletop, board games and both collectable and living card games.

The large gaming area caters for both competitive tournament style playing and friendly social games.

The store has recently moved to a bigger and better location, purposely fit out with cool new features our customers have asked for! Now you can enjoy a freshly made organic barista coffee or tea while challenging your pals to a game in the lounge. The Goblin's painting station is also always available for anyone wanting to call in to paint and chat with like-minded gamers.

The Wicked Goblin ships all stocked items Australia-wide and sending items all over FNQ and to remote areas is a speciality. If you don't want to wait a week for it to be delivered from Melbourne or Sydney, call or email Mick for availability and shipping details.
